My favorite Christmas song, thanks to dear Balthazar in that fourth verse:

Myrrh is mine, its bitter perfume
Breathes a life of gathering gloom;
Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying,
Sealed in the stone cold tomb.

My gothic heart just soars.

Snow is pouring down here in Upstate NY, and I wish I were home to walk about amid the soft flakes in Mount Auburn cemetery.

Merry Christmas to all!

Unrelated Note:  Do any of my Boston area friends have *coughcough* Word for Macintosh software which I could *coughcough* borrow?

That's always been my favorite verse too. I always make sure no one's talking when Mario Lanza is about to launch into it.

You've got to admit that it does have atmosphere. :-)

Have a merry christmas!

I always found that verse creepy and awesome, too.

Enjoy the holidays! I still have your gift here! Maybe I will pop it in the mail this week.

It's raining and freezing here; all two feet of powdery, glittery snow is being decimated like a wedding cake being peed on by glib angels.

I'm in Syracuse right now and we are experiencing the same. Peeing glib angels! :-D

When will I see you again? Will you be in town after the new year? I look forward to catching up on many things and I am so sorry we keep missing each other!

Yeah I know! I start teaching again late January, Mondays and also a few Tuesday nights. It will make dinner plans tricky cuz I'm working nights; but maybe I'll come in on a Sunday once in a while!

We may come to Boston earlier in January--I'll let you know.

Have a great week and we'll catch up soon! Oh and good luck with the job stuff!

Well, let's make some time soon! I would love that-- whatever works out. Among my many new year's resolutions, I want to make more time to be with friends and see more of people. :-)

If you are in a pinch, you might try Open Office.

I've been using this product for a few years and don't have MS Office installed on this computer anymore.
