She looks adorably grumpy.

I took it this morning. We were hanging out and watching the birds together and she was confused about not getting any breakfast. :-(

This photo really does capture her affect. And her lovely Roman nose.... :-)

Poor little hungry girl. I always hate that, when I can't feed one of the critters because of an upcoming medical procedure and I can't explain to them why there's no food. Guilt guilt guilt.

She's such a pretty thing.

Yeah, I think that is the main reason why I am so stressed about this-- she doesn't understand and is so visibly unhappy. Both of my kitties enjoy their meals and enjoy sitting at the table and watching me eat (heh). This just feels awful.

She started crying the moment I put her in the carrier.

They are doing the biopsy right about now, and she'll come home wearing an Elizabethan ruff which I *know* will piss her off to no end.

Fez screams from the instant she is put in the carrier until about 6 hours later. Doesn't matter if we're back home again by then and have been so for hours. It's awful. So I have huge, huge sympathy.

Thinking good thoughts for both of you that everything goes smoothly and that the biopsy reveals only something easy-to-manage.

Easy to mange is the goal. One good part is that all the possibilities that they know about *are* in fact easy to manage. They just have to figure out what she needs. And also there is Skenderian's-- they will make custom ixes of her medications and make them tasty. It all helps.

On the plus side, she'll be really stoned on the Fentanyl so maybe she won't mind the ruff so much?

We are planning to entertain her with Dark Side of the Moon or maybe Incense and Peppermint this evening, though I suspct she will just want to sleep.

If I had a some tie dye, I ould put it down on her bed. :-)

I would not put on a tie dyed ruff-- I think the indignity would get to her eventually. Kali with wounded dignity is not a pretty sight.

Thank you for the good words!

Good thoughts for her. I love animals, but I have a special place in my heart for cats....and an even more special spot for Abys.

Best wishes for sure - we have had kitty health stuff going on, too. (Is the other one named Parvati, or am I totally misremembering?)

Her sister is Parvati, yes-- hey, you would remember them as wee kittens!

Thank you for your good wishes-- I just got word from the doctor that she is in recovery but because of her tiny size and complete lack of body fat she got very cold during the procedure-- hwich means her recovery will be slower than it would if she were a chubbier kitty.

They have her bundled up in heating blankets and a nurse is sitting by her. They said they would call when she is looking more alert.
